Flame lamination
Flame lamination - consists in connecting textile materials with thermoplastic polyurethane foam. Action of a flame on polyurethane foam causes melting of adhesive connecting layers of textiles.
The machines used in the "Neks" enable connection of one layer, two or three layers of materials by means of foam. Flame lamination is one of the cheapest lamination methods but in consideration of indispensable participation of polyurethane foam it is gradually ousted from the market by methods of flameless lamination.
This method is mostly used in manufacturing of products toward which there are low quality requirements e.g. materials for covers of car seats, upholstery materials and others.
Powder lamination
Powder lamination consists in connecting textile materials by means of thermoplastic polymer powder. It enables connection of several layers of textile materials. Variety of powders available on the market causes large differentiation of properties of products in respect of their appropriation and requirements of customers.
This method allows to achieve greater, than in case of flame lamination method, force of connecting layers of materials as well as to obtain products of smaller and more uniform thickness.
The products manufactured can be used in building, footwear, automotive industry and in many other industries.
Lamination by means of WEB technology
Lamination by means of WEB technology consists in connection of textile materials with use of glued needled cloth made of thermoplastic polymers, introduced as third layer.
Thanks to this method we obtain a product with very uniform thickness and with uniform distribution of connection force on the whole product surface. WEB method can be used for products with large roughness (porosity) of surface where molten powder can cause migration of adhesive molecules inward the product and weakening of force connecting layers of textile materials.
The technology is used mainly for lamination of needled cloths, foams and knitted fabrics)e.g. clothing inserts).
Lamination with foil
Lamination with foil - consists in connection textile materials by means of polymer foils. Products obtained by this method are characterized by high uniformity of thickness. Thanks to various kinds of foils this method is applied to wide range of products with special physical and chemical properties.
Application of impermeable foil-membranes enables production of laminates for sport clothing or special clothing (so-called breathing clothing).
